Ability to Capture Payment Over the Phone

Some customers have requested the ability to use an IVR system to capture credit card payment over the phone. The phone payment method involves an IVR system so that Sales Reps don't have to take credit cards over the phone. Customers can call in to the phone line directly, enter their credit card information, and it validates and processes the credit card. Most companies, especially when they have a large volume of accounts, want to lock down their PCI compliance and sales reps handling credit cards adds additional risk.

The setup would be added into the PeakCommerce interface but this is an additional method of payment capture for customers that doesn't directly involve web interface interaction.

The simplified steps are as follows:

1. Customer calls into the IVR phone line
2. Some criteria is validated to pull up the customer account from Zuora
3. Customer enters their credit card information
4. It is validated with the payment gateway
5. Amount is confirmed and captured in the payment gateway
6. The reference transaction payment method is created in Zuora for future recurring processing
